Стихотворение Томаса Мура было положено на музыку ирландским композитором сэром Джоном Стивенсоном. Песня "Последняя роза лета" с тех пор стала очень известна, её использовал Фридрих фон Флотов в своей опере "Марта", мелодию часто используют в кинофильмах.

Left blooming alone;
